I'm pretty sure my dad got (ironically) anonymously scolded by some old lady for letting me ride this very ride. Luckily, my experience was different than this poor chap's.
Your dad told me he has no idea what you are talking about and asked sincerely when would he have ever allowed you to do something stupid or dangerous.
i'll probably never win any parent of the year awards, but at least i know to show concern for my kid when he is screaming hysterically. that ranks right up there with michael jackson's dangling child incident or the crocodile hunter's "croc baby food" episode.
