A personal favorite of mine. Ever since I saw Blues Brothers. Stand By Your Man by Tammy Wynette
Almost forgot the hint: Gimme some credit, everyone, for coming up with such "awesome" clues to a "variety" of songs.

First of all, good job on the clues. Second of all, please turn the dujour selection over to iblog soon so we don't get any more tammy wynette. I can understand the blues brothers connnection, but give us some of that greatness instead of the beehive boufont that you selected. Maybe a little "Rawhide"
well anonymous, doesn't look like either of us got it. i was only able to figure out the "specific" clues. still have no idea as to the "general" ones. thought maybe it had something do do with the "awesome" "variety" of songs that the band did, but that is subjective and not fact as the anti-blogger already pointed out. maybe we should do a sudden death round and get a clue to the clues...

Just a clarification. i blog, you were able to guess the general clues. Punk, Fat Mike, etc. all describe the band. The specific clues give the answer away. After today's post you will know what the specific clues have been. Then you will say one of two things to yourself. 1) Why that clever little... or 2) What an idiot. I am sorry, Anonymous, I had to play some Tammy Wynette. A little boring, but Me First and the Gimme Gimmes do not cover Rawhide. My bad.
